Do I need a Pro Membership to use In One Motion?
Yes you will need to have a Pro Membership to use In One Motion. We give you a 24hr grace period and 500 credits to try on any of the computers when you become a member. You only have to pay after 24 hours.
What comes with a Pro Membership?
A Pro Membership essentially gives you all that you need in order to keep experiencing your own personalized computer with In One Motion. This includes a 250GB Solid State Disk (SSD) that you can install all of your apps, store your files on, and "plug" into any remote computer you chose. The Pro Membership also includes a Static IP address + SSL Certificate for your security, and 500 credits to use on any of the remote computers.
We also create a snapshot of your personal storage everytime you shutdown a remote computer, and we store this snapshot for 7 days. We do that incase you need to roll back to a previous version of your personal storage.
Is there any support?
Yes. It is our mission to help you get the remote computer you need when you need it. As such we provide email support for all of our users both in trial, and who have a Pro Membership.
How am I billed?
Pre-purchased credits are used in exchange for time on the computers. The timer starts the minute you start a computer to the minute you press the shutdown button. Time on the computer is rounded up to the nearest minute, and the amount of credits consumed is rounded down to the nearest credit. For example, if you use a computer for 19.3 minutes, you will be charged for 20 minutes. If those 20 minutes results in a charge for 112.8 credits, only 112 credits will be consumed.
Is there any guarantee?
Yes. We guarantee every computer we provide access to runs properly. For example: 0 credits will be consumed if your selected remote computer fails to start properly. This control is automatic, and you do not need to contact us to get a refund. Having said that please see our return policy for more information.
What software do I need to get started?
If you are using a Windows2
machine, chances are you already have all the software you need to connect to the remote computers. If you are on a Mac3
you will need to download another app in order to connect to the remote computers. We recommend this app which is free at the App Store.4
Your experience will also depend on the quality of internet connection you have: a better internet connection will give you a better experience.
Are my files secure?
Yes, your files are securely stored and only the computers you select will have access to those files. The moment you shutdown the computer it no longer has access to your files, and the hard drive the computer was using is securely erased protecting you and your files.
Do I need a computer running to access my files?
No. You will be pleased to know that you do not need a computer running to access your files.
Do I need my own licenses for software?
Yes. You will need to use your own software licenses when using one of the remote computers we provide access to. Please refer to your software's End User License Agreements / Terms of Service before using In One Motion.
